Mustang & Pokhara Tour
Lakeside Pokhara, then the dry country behind the Himalaya.
About this journey
This is the trip most visitors to Pokhara end up wanting once they realise the mountains have another side. It pairs two or three days on Phewa Lake with the drive or flight north through the Kali Gandaki gorge into Mustang — Jomsom, Marpha's orchards, Kagbeni's medieval lanes and the temple at Muktinath. Mustang sits in the Annapurna rain shadow, so this runs through the monsoon when most of Nepal is under cloud.
