From Pokhara, To Anywhere.

Lakeside calm beneath the Annapurnas.
Pokhara sits at about 820 m on the shore of Phewa Lake, roughly 200 km west of Kathmandu, with the Annapurna range rising to nearly 8,000 m within thirty kilometres of the water. That gap is why the mountains look the way they do from here. It is Nepal's second city, the base for most Annapurna trekking, and the town Open Heart Travels has worked out of for years.
